Twin Cyclone High Efficiency Dust Collectors

Twin cyclones are shown here with an integral leg structure providing clearance for air-locks on the dust discharges. As their diameters increase, cyclone efficiency decreases. Thus twin and quad arrangements are used to keep efficiency high. Note the helical roof directs dust down to the cone. The separate dust traps on the dust outlet, along with other internal modifications, make Beckert & Hiester cyclones the most efficient in the industry.
