Don't let your dust collector send ''air conditioned" air into the outdoors, forcing your already over-worked air conditioning system to replace it. Get a Beckert and Hiester filter unit as an after-cleaner for your existing dust control systems. If the air is free of noxious gases, we can clean it for return to the work place.

The unit has an aluminum or pleated media pre-filter which eliminates most particles above 44 microns (325 mesh). The air is then passed through multi-pocket filters which remove most particles above one micron. Finally, and only if necessary, we can add a HEPA filter (high efficiency particulate arrestance) which has an efficiency rating of 99.97 percent on all particles 0.3 microns and above. This means tobacco smoke, welding smoke and most other fumes generated by burning are eliminated.

We also offer a final stage of activated carbon to eliminate odor problems.

Maintenance costs (filters replacement) are much less than the costs resulting from air conditioning losses.

In addition, savings on winter heat — and be assured winter will arrive on schedule — are at least equal to summer savings.

Another important benefit is that when new dust control installations are considered, retaining the air inside the plant will make the permit process easier.

Also, the existence of a "fail safe" after-filter system is reassuring to those who work in the area.

If your dust collector is outside, the ideal time to change bags and cartridges is during the summer! Don't wait for the winter winds and snow.
